1. Acceptance of these terms
This website is operated by Showtrailscoutshelf SAS ("we", "us"), RCS Paris 902 445 118, 27 Rue de Bretagne, 75003 Paris, France. By using the site, making a reservation or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy and cookie policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Consumers in France retain all rights granted by the French Consumer Code, and nothing here reduces them.
2. Reservations, orders and events
Reservations for two to six guests are made through our booking form or by telephone and are confirmed by email. Tables are held for fifteen minutes past the reserved time. Weekend reservations require a card guarantee; a no-show or a cancellation with less than four hours' notice is charged €10 per person, as stated at the time of booking. Weekday reservations carry no fee.
Pastry pre-orders require 48 hours' notice and are collection-only. Orders of more than four boxes require a 30% deposit. Uncollected orders after 15:00 on the collection day are forfeited and charged in full.
Event bookings are governed by the deposit, cancellation and minimum-spend terms set out in the events guide and repeated in your written confirmation, which together form the contract for that event. In the event of conflict, the written confirmation prevails.
Menu descriptions and prices on this site are accurate at publication but may change with the seasons. The price charged is the price on the printed menu on the day of your visit.
3. Your obligations
You agree to provide accurate contact details, to honour or cancel bookings in good time, and to treat our team and other guests with courtesy. You must not use the site to send unlawful, abusive or misleading content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; scrape or copy content at scale; or make bookings you do not intend to honour. We may refuse service or cancel bookings made in breach of these terms.
4. Intellectual property
All text, photographs, illustrations, recipes, logos and the Showtrailscoutshelf name and mark on this site are owned by or licensed to Showtrailscoutshelf SAS and protected by French and international intellectual-property law. You may view, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. Any other reproduction, adaptation or commercial use requires our written permission. Requests may be sent to [email protected].
5. Third-party links
The site links to external resources such as public-transport information, browser help pages and the European Commission's dispute-resolution platform. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
6. Limitation of liability
We provide the website "as is" and make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site, including loss of data or profits. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for breach of consumer rights that cannot be waived under French law, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Allergen information is provided in good faith; guests with allergies must inform staff before ordering.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, cancel reservations or decline future bookings if you breach these terms, behave abusively towards staff or guests, or repeatedly fail to honour bookings. Where a deposit has been paid and we terminate for your breach, the cancellation terms in section 2 apply. You may stop using the site at any time.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
9. Disputes and mediation
If something goes wrong, tell us first at [email protected]; most problems are solved in a day. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 60 days, consumers may refer it free of charge to a consumer mediator in accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code; details of our appointed mediator are available on request. You may also use the European Commission's online dispute-resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Failing amicable resolution, the competent courts of Paris have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rules that allow a consumer to bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you make a booking or use the site. Material changes will be announced on the home page for 30 days before they take effect.
